Sorry to split hairs, but I'd hardly say SEN lounges are first class. The refurbished ones in Germany and Switzerland are pleasant enough but usually identical other than slightly less crowded equivalents of the non-SEN ones. AFAIK the food and drink selection is identical. The SEN lounge at LHR is particularly unpleasant and they don't let *A Golds in there either.

Admittedly, BA's ex-UK lounge network can be patchy outside of LHR and JFK. But the baseline quality is a few notches superior to anything *A can match it with (the premium offers which come with more restricted access being the clear exception).
