Has anyone stayed at the Marriott Renaissance Hotel in Amsterdam?

I know they have been going through renovations and have read some past posts indicating problems with thin walls, etc., etc.

I was wondering if anyone has stayed there very recently and could update me on the stay to include the location of hotel, the hotel quality itself, and anything else you might think useful.
