Sounds similar to the Virgin Blue (DJ) "Happy Hour" fares

Although DJ offered a limited number of cheap fares - as low as $1 (+ taxes) during 12-1PM AEST... I think those promotions went up in smoke after SRB lost his controlling share in the airline, but I could be wrong. Does anyone know if they still exist?
