I regularly stay at both. The rate, and whichever is offering the best bonus, are the criteria I use for my choice, as I find them both excellent properties.

The HR is much larger and newer. The GH has somewhat more luxurious beds. As a Diamond, I typically receive a corner room at the GH, which is more spacious than anything I've ever received at the HR.
