Not the same Gender but here is some info
I am from kathmandu, and can say it's ok to travel at night if you are careful. But most of KTM is dead at night except Thamel area. Here too after 11 you won't see many people on the street. Taxi's are ok but most ahve rigged meters these days. Don't visit any of the so called dance resturants or the massage parlors which look seedy specially in Thamel area. There are a few decent spa's in hotels which have opened in the last few years. be careful of the many guys in thamel area who will offer to guide youa round etc.

I would suggest goign to Pokhra for a few days
