Myself, and two American tourists were treated to a ongoing racist, mysoginist, and quite a few other ist's combined with a few -phobe type things rant from the driver from Heathrow to (at least) my hotel. This including tirades against his colleagues ("f*ckin' p*kis, wouldn't know a days hard work" type comments) and well, pretty much everyone on the entire planet. It was the kind of embarassing situation sitcom writers dream about, but couldn't actually make up.

Having lived in the UK and experienced similar (although not quite as vitriolic) spleen venting from cabbies etc, I felt sorry for the tourists. I think they were rather shell shocked by their welcome to the UK. Was I glad to get out of that van, and I can't imagine that couple would ever be booking the service again..
