The North Vancouver Harbourside site is at the foot of Fell, - not sure how it is proceeding. I believe there was some issue with building height and the city.

Just had a look at stalled condo projects in my locality and stumbled across the publicity for a Hilton Downtown Vancouver (which appears to be located right behind the HI or very close by on the adjacent intersection). First time I've heard of this or the following project:
There's also a proposal for a Hilton North Vancouver Harbourside (which could be anywhere along the whole water front of North Vancouver - just betting it's the old Versatile ship yeard).
Developer is the Mayfair hotel group which also owns the HI as well as other regional hotels.
