Quick update:
Last night we arrived from our KUL-CGK flight and of course did not have to go landside.
In order to get our BPs for the QR flights, I had to give our passports and e-ticket number to someone at the ground services/transit service provider.
That was a slightly hairy wait, given the history of Indonesia as being corrupt on an official level from the top down under previous strongmen leaders.
All worked out quickly and the
CGK Premier Lounge was far better than I had expected. Even some of the food was edible and tasty.
More about the CGK-ZIN-DOH flight later but it was great in terms of service and the attitude of staff, details in presentation of meals and cutlery and a friendliness that is a refreshing change.
