Would not spend 50 pounds per ticket for lounge access.

In Paris, the boarding space is small but the coffee shop has great coffee and nice croissants for breakfast. There is a small duty free shop too.
In London I would skip the lounge. There is some nice shopping in the train station and a very nice champagne bar on the top floor.
