Kinda what it comes down to. Especially on planes where they block the aisles for 30 minutes doing drink or meal services.

Being ex-Air Force, we're used to "holding it in" on very long flights (I can do SFO-NRT), so I've never visited a lavatory on a plane. Fact is I visit the loo before every flight at my departure airport, and always at connecting airports so I don't have to visit the loo on the plane.

I mean you *can* sit in the back of the plane so the lavatory is always available, but that would mean giving up those precious Economy Plus seats, wouldn't it.
