Here are the reasons why someone should join QF:

- Status
- Being able to transfer credit card points
- lifetime status
- you actually fly QF often (always have status with the carrier you fly)

So if any of those apply to you, joining QFF might be a good idea. But I think in your case, none of them apply, so stay away.

QF has the worst earn/burn ration this side of the Mississippi (and also on the other side) so another reason not to join.
