Couldn't agree more.
You can then take a gazillion liquids, pointy things, etc. with you.
And you've got the upside of not having to haul your suitcase all around the airport, trying to find a place to store it and busting your back lifting it into the overhead.
Yeah you might have to wait a bit for your bag to arrive but if you're
really stressing about carrying something that the TSA might not allow, checking the bag is an instant cure for your stress.
