Personally I think the food ex LHR to India is some of the best food we serve, wish I could say the same about the food ex India.

Although I've never flown the route I can believe this as a good percentage of the staff at Gate Gourmet are from India so they should know how to make a tasty Indian meal suitable for the English palate.
Talking of food - I only have praise for my recent meal in F ex-LHR. The choice was really great - I chose the Chicken Pie but would have enjoyed whatever I'd opted for and the Apple & Parsnip soup was gorgeous. The great crew totally enhanced the experience too. ^
