A marriage certificate would not expedite your application for pass travel. and if you got married elsewhere... then you'd have to register that marriage here in canada, which would get you a canadian marriage licence anyway.

Do you work for Air Canada? Because this information is contrary to everything we've been told thus far. I've also been told that the live-in requirement only applies to common-law and that the only requirement to declare someone as a dependant (spouse) under the marriage category is a marriage certificate.
