Ah, very useful information. I hadnt thought of that. I didnt know you could book XF on a regular award and waitlist for the saver. Thanks for that tip. I have been trying to find a saver XF from JFK to NRT for Feb or March and no luck at all. I might also look on ANA. They have the new first class in the JFK-NRT market.
