The answer is yes to all questions. Spouses parents not eligible to fly on their own. Spouse or employee can take spouses parents as buddies.
Thanks for the answer. It seems like the original question has almost been fully answered in different fragments of the thread.
The remaining question that is not answered is regarding the marriage: Can it be a marriage license from a US state or other country that permits same-sex marriage? Or will they only accept a marriage license registered in Canada?
An accurate answer would help tie everything together!
