The calculations i've made in the past ended with a value of 2.5c -2c per mile. With our CIBC gold card we got .08c for every gold point which we usually redeemed for HBC gift cards. So I'm getting 3x the value and the 1.5x AP bonus points probably put the value 4.5x what we were getting before.
