So, what is your normal travel pattern on BA now? And excuse me for being slow this morning, but what is GT?

You seem to be saying you don't travel very much now on BA, in which case I don't understand why you want to go to a lot of bother to get Silver.

With your old travel pattern, my answer would be that you want to convert as many of those ET trips to CE trips as cheaply as possible, for example by flying from LGW to get the cheap-ish (now not-so-cheap) upgrade, looking for CE sales, cheap I-fares and so forth. So you see the answer does depend on your own travel plans. I get Silver completely differently: I take all my long-haul leisure flights in CW (or rarely F), and even when about one-third of those are MFUs from WTP that is enough to get me Silver.
