Was thinking of trying to capitalize on best rate guarantee and knock 20% off. However searching this forum seems to indicate that the claim will get denied because the expedia rate specifies teh tax. This seems ridiculous to me and as such I am inclined to book through expedia and stick hyatt with paying them commission.

Do I risk losing FFN credit?

Do I risk losing mastercard bonus.

There is no G bonus.
You will not get FFN or MC bonus when booking with expedia.
