BTW - I remember this old skit on the telly re: some Russian guy w/ vcrs blinking "12:00". He says he charges $500 for vcr stuff. His cousin says cuz there are problems? Him, no. To make the 12:00 stop blinking.

I think someone could make a fortune figuring out an easy way to get that vacuum-sealed (my phrase; not accurate) plastic stuff on this & others to actually open up easily. I was thankful the tech guy didn't just stick a stake through the heart of the memory in frustration at getting the plastic to open.

But anyway, once he did, it went very quick. Even w/ it taking a bit, it all went very quick. And truthfully I was just gabbing w/ my friend while he did it. She told me I didn't need to do anything for him, but fair is fair. I bought a nice Pinot Noir for him. Of course he was a 'youngin', so no idea if it mattered. LOL.

He did say I should get 4GB, but I mentioned that thanks to you all I know this machine will only take 2GB. Plus we talked about Windows 7, which got an unveiling by all the mags today.

Cheers.
