I've found on my corporate rate plan that the hourly rate is half the daily. So yes, after 2 hours you're into another day. However I've noticed on weekend rentals they seem to drop the hourly rate quite a bit, it's more like between a quarter and a third of the daily rate. I went overtime on a weekend rental by an hour due to bad weather a while back and it only cost me $8 plus tax iirc.
