Anyone who thinks DL/NW is going to be a happy, profit-making cookie monster is incredibly short-sighted.
Anybody that thinks this merger is about cementing the #1 position in the US domestic market hasn't been paying attention to the industry. This is about giving DL/NW the capacity to become an international heavyweight, something neither one of them could conceivably do on their own.
