I'm not so sure about luggage zippers, I had a damaged one on a Jacket, but with the size stated at the back, I could not find any replacements online for that size, end up buying a zipper repair kit, the size differs by 1, zipper works sometimes (when pulled correctly), but doesn't work during other times. There is no quick way to repair it yourself, especially on the road as you will need pliers and tools (to take out the stopper and put in a new one). I would recommend sending it back to the manufacturer for replacement of the zipper pull.
