Customers Will Receive 500-1000 Bonus US Airways Dividend Miles With Purchase of a US Airways Ticket on Orbitz.com

Chicago, Ill. (August 19, 2003) – Orbitz, the travel web site that makes it easy to find low fares, today announced it is the first online travel company to offer bonus airline mile awards. Under an agreement with US Airways, Orbitz customers will now receive 1,000 additional US Airways Dividend Miles the first time they purchase a US Airways ticket on Orbitz.com. Customers purchasing additional US Airways tickets on Orbitz will receive 500 bonus miles with each purchase.

Bonus miles are awarded in addition to the standard airline-mileage awards Orbitz customers can earn each time they book a ticket on the site. To earn bonus miles, at the time of booking customers must be enrolled as a US Airways Dividend Miles member and complete the flight. During this promotion, Orbitz customers will be able to join the US Airways Dividend Miles program from Orbitz.com.

The exclusive promotion will launch on August 19th and will be offered through October 5th on Orbitz.com. All travel must be completed by November 25th, 2003.
