Here's just a funny bit of trivia - the NW inflight crews call the 757-300 "Amistad". Apparently, the FA's at the front can see the whole plane buckle and jump during the take-off roll because it's so long.
Also, NW staffs the 757-300 at FAA minimums. There are only 5 FA's to serve 24F and 200Y passengers. In particular, 3 FA's must serve 200 passengers -- even from West Coast to Hawaii. Compare that to 3 FA's serving 144Y on AS's 738's! No wonder they call it "Amistad"!!!
