I agree.
Two benefits with being PLT w/SPG I value are the suite upgrade benefit. I am 100% this year on getting a suite w/SPG with MR it's 10% and that's only because I am a frequent guest at a few properties. The other is the 4pm late check out. I have to beg Marriott to get a 1 or even 2pm late check out.
