PS be warned that T2 is very much works in progress. When departing FRA they have removed the security scanners that used to be immediately after passport control and they are now at the gates. A set of scanners covers 2 or 3 gates. The original scanner area is being turned into a shopping area cf BAA!

The inbound passport control is down the escalator as before and they are doing work in the baggage hall so it is quite dark at the moment.
