Have a day in SYD due to original lack of minimum connect time to the morning NZ flight to CHC but glad for the break to head into the city (Manly for lunch!).
Nice work - we're doing the same from SYD. The good thing for you is that OZ is using the NZ KC lounge. ^ A nice easy walk from your NZ connection.

Thanks! We're off in the first week of December. Ironically - OZ ICN HKG, then NZ to LHR.
(No luck with NZ AKL-HKG-LHR BD redemption or did you prefer to go OZ instead? I am happy that we will be trying both OZ C SYD-ICN-HKG & NZ HKG-LHR on the same trip, both as 2-class service)
