If my friend is coming here with a return ticket for 3 weeks later, is there a possibility that the CBP inspector will stamp his I-94W giving approval for a stay of say, only 30 days or only 60 days, or is the stamp routinely for 90 days after the date of arrival? I'm concerned that if he decides to extend his visit, this could create problems.
