Havent posted for a while--

I see AA has a purchase of 60k miles for 1.5k. I know its not a good deal, but:

---I know I can buy it for myself
---Can another AA'er buy and "gift" 60 to me -- meaning, is there a max on the number of gifted miles per year?

NOTE: The site says this is good thru 12-31-08...

If there is a max, would either of those be kosher if one is done 12/08 and the other 1/09?

Here's the punchline. I am within 120 of 4 million miles. Its been a while so I do not recall --- how long does it take to get the gift -- and if its 4 "evips" - would that cover 3 people on an award seat to europe ONE way? (as i would not have the 5th and 6th)
