You shouldn't have to exit security since all the terminals interconnect. If memory serves me correctly there are a bunch of US gates near the UA gates, so potentially it's a very short gate change. I forget if some US gates are in a different tier, in which case it'd be a slightly longer walk, but still only a few minutes.
