My question is self-explanatory. The reason for my question is whether Aeroplan offers more Aeroplan benefits to US residents (than to Canadian residents) to attract their business(for AC), because of the significant competition by legacy and discount carriers in the US marketplace?

I am not asking about things AC based benefits, like cheaper fares from US (Vs Canadian) to overseas destinations, or the fact that US residents are not eligible to purchase flight passes, etc.
