If you're asking about the chances of being upgraded on a particular NW flight, I'm not sure why you're asking here in MilesBuzz as opposed to the NW forum. You need the insight of people specifically familiar with NW, not just people who fly any old airline, to get better insight on this.
One particular thing you need to know: What is the order that NW processes miles upgrades? It varies from airline to airline, and depending on the airline it could matter more when you requested the miles upgrade, or it could matter more what your status is, or something else could matter more.
