As far as I remember, the only codeshares you'd be able to book on AF's website are Delta ones. So, if Expedia offers this to you, you should book with them. Regarding CO joining Star Alliance: The answer I've got from the guys in the CO forum was that this will happen as soon as the merger of Delta with Northwest is finally done.
