Has this recently changed? I flew PHL-MUC last December (twice), in coach, and was able to use the US PHL Envoy lounge before the flights both times. I'm a US Gold, and I thought this was one benefit we still had.

Also, on the return, I was able to use the PHL B-C lounge before my connecting flights.

As to the actual flights, if they are anything like PHL-MUC or MUC-PHL/FRA-PHL, I'd prepare for the worst and hope for the best. Bring some Tylenol PM, take it with dinner, and hope you pass out. I remember eating dinner (tolerable food), then I woke up and we were over France. Needless to say, for my upcoming trip to London, I'm flying UA (was able to trade some HHonors points for SWU's and am in biz).
