What I meant by "paying twice" was, if you want a sleeper and you pay cash, you pay for two things: the coach ticket and a sleeper compartment. It seems, though, that if you pay for a sleeper with AGR points, you only pay for one thing, a combination of the sleeper compartment and coach passage. Do I have that right?

So, that means a person wouldn't be allowed to, say, book a coach ticket for February 2009 using AGR points today, and then pay cash for an upgrade to a sleeper compartment tomorrow? If an AGR reward passenger wanted to pay cash for the sleeping compartment, that would only be allowed as an on-board upgrade? That's a bummer!

In terms of ordering special meals, what I'd be trying to get is something that doesn't have meat, but isn't grain, either. So, a veggie burger would work, but not pasta. I looked at the info on the web site, but I'm not sure I can specify something like that.
