Phil, are you referring to sales tax being refunded as part of a Flexible Spender Account? Yeah, sales tax should be refundable as part of an FSA account. What I meant was that the sales tax isn't refunded as part of the free-after-rebate deal from Rite Aid. So, if you're doing this for the rebate, not for FSA, you'll have to cover the sales tax, which is generally more than what the Frequent Flyer miles would be worth.
It looks like there will be about $45 in free-after-rebate items available tomorrow, and then a bunch more on the same rebate form in November. Some of the items have to be purchased within a very narrow time frame. For example, you can get Garnier Fructise free, but only if you buy it a particular day (November 28th.) Looks like Rite Aid wants to get you into their store multiple times per month. Luckily, there's one about 500 feet from my house!
