Call me obsessive, but as a pax, this is my routine when I go use the lav...

Spray interior with a pump spray deodorizer upon entering lav, flush the toilet, use wet towels to wipe toilet seat, cover, and rim;

If floor is wet, spread paper towels on floor and wipe using my feet(always with shoes or slippers), gather up towels, toss in waste towels receptacle and push down towels already in receptacle; wipe down wash basin and surface;

Wash hands, do my deed, wash hands and face, wipe down wash basin, spray deodorizer in lav, exit. Even as a male, in an aircraft lav, I would sit rather than stand when doing a no. 1 (taking a p!ss). If all male pax do that, it would eliminate the urine on the floor.

Now that I know urine is sterile, I feel much better about wiping dry a wet floor. I've never been recognized for these deeds, but now, I feel better that the FT community knows.
