A friend flew to Chicago a week ago last Friday (Oct 12) for a convention (she embarked from T5 ). She was part of a large group of people attending the same convention who all flew on the same flight, and she was the only one whose checked bag never made it.

By the time she left Chicago on Wednesday (Oct 17) to continue on to Los Angeles, her bag had still not materialised. As of now, Oct 24, BA confess that they still do not know where it is, and have offered her nothing at all in terms of compensation for purchasing essentials or anything else. She has been borrowing clothes from friends and buying other essentials out of her own pocket.

The ironic thing is that her husband is a BA pilot......
