Further Platinum experiences - and luggage allowance lowered

1. The confirmed C-class upgrade benefit on electronic M and Y class tickets is hit and miss - in the sense that it is asked for so seldom that call center personnel needs to be read the relevant passage in the Platinum benefit chart - and they then make a dog's breakfast of the reservation - so that you are e.g. able to check in at the kiosk - but they then think you have a paper ticket when you try to check your luggage, or they lose your 1000 point Internet bonus (because you called them).

2. The call center has been improved. After you type in your OK+ number and you say you want to change your ticket they actually have the reservation in front of them and you don't have to recite the PNR.

3. Non-related - but they lowered the standard luggage allowance from 23 to 20 kg (but platinums in economy still can take 30kg extra (!) so no worries there), but CSA have not been very vocal on that topic, as far as I recall.
