The property is the only international hotel near airport within 2km – 5 mins drive. It might be the traffic that is causing the traveling time to be longer.
Hotel direction is pretty against the traffic in the morning and there is a latest shopping center near by the hotel called Spring. It is 3 mins drive from the hotel.

I guess this is my point. Why would you wan to be 15 minutes from town in when everything of interest is in the town centre? The airport, which is close to the hotel, is on the outskirts of town and I don't see any point in staying out there.
As I said previously, I'm glad to see more starwood hotels in the region that I live in and am even more excited it's also a new brand, but the location of this hotel is a big negative. I wish them well with the opening however
On a different issue, any news about the 'opening' of the Sheraton Yogya?
