Question Possible to return to a different location once the rental has begun?
I'm in a bit of a conundrum here. When flying out for a business trip, I politely asked the UA gate agent if I could stand by for SJC vs. OAK, which got me closer to my destination and in 3 hours earlier... and I succeeded.

Changing the car rental reservation was easy at that point. Now, it's scheduled to be returned to OAK as a one-way rental. But I want to stand by for an earlier flight home, and the earliest flights are ex-SJC (OAK's flights aren't for almost four hours later).

Is it possible to return the car to SJC once it's already been rented and is due back in OAK later the same day?
