I flew this route last week in Y. They use the A330-300 (333) which does not have an F cabin. I made my usual effort to upgrade at the airport and it (still) just doesn't work with QR. The plane was full outbound DOH-SIN-CGK with most of the pax getting off in SIN and very few getting on. Same deal on the return, farely emplty CGK-SIN with a bunch of folks getting on for the SIN-DOH leg. They stop in SIN for about an hour and do not let you off if you are flying through.

They say the check in in Jakarta does not open until 21.00, but they started at 20.15 the night I left. That is important as there is nothing to do land side.

QR uses the DCA lounge in Jakarta, which was very nice. They had lots of small sandwiches and three hot food options (fried rice, a noodle dish and a beef stew) all of which were tasty. They had beer and mixed drinks (whisky, gin, vodka but no rum ).

Duty free is a waste of time and airside is pretty lame.

The DO NOT let you take liquids unless they are sealed in a duty free bag. Security is at the gate and I lost a bottle of water
