The call for switching the service too less than 3 minutes. Couldn't be easier. Of course, you will be on your own when it comes to diverting your current email to the phone. You can use a Gmail account or any pop/imap account.

Apps are all in the Android market app on the phone. Simply start the app, and you'll see the list of all the available apps.
