I have a "permanent" problem with my last name: It contains an "I" at a certain position -- but due to an issue with transliteration from Cyrillic, the version in my passport has a "Y" instead. Therefore, on every single international flight I have a mismatch between what's in my ticket and what's in my passport. (Why can't I put the passport version into the ticket? -- not only because all my FF accounts have it my own way, but also because it's a matter of principle for me.) Yet, not only has this not been a problem for me -- I have never ever been asked about it.

I agree with those believing that the OP should have no problem.
