I have a flight at SEA the Sunday after Christmas, coming from Everett -about 50 miles. Did anyone have airport experience at Thanksgiving. I don't expect too much traffic on a Sunday afternoon, but it could be chaotic if there is snow or ice on the roads.

What happens if you get caught in snow and miss your flight? I know it doesn't happen often, but it happened to me at SeaTAc about 6 years ago right after Christmas. Just made my flight by minutes without the security hassle. Then spent hours waiting to be de-iced.

If you miss, can you go standby on the next flight?
