I am wondering if anyone has noticed different treatment when flying on a confirmed upgrade. I am flying LHR-YYZ a couple of times over the next couple of months and have decided to save some money on my travel budget and buy Y class and get a guaranteed upgrade (I am elite). I save about 50%!

I am wondering if there is a difference in terms of things such as meal choice etc (ie: do upgrades get last choice?) Do the F/As even know who is full J vs I class?

It's not a huge deal for me, more of just a curiosity...
