We found the location not nearly as important as the way we were treated as Diamonds. At the Hilton Prague we were welcomed with a glass of sparkling wine and given full access to a large and spacious lounge.
At the Old Town Hilton two nights later we were chiseled out of an upgrade the day before mandatory Diamond access kicked in, until we raised a fuss.
Again, if you're in Prague for one night and want to walk out the door to pedestrian access to the old town you're marginally better off in the Old Town Hilton, with its tiny lounge located off the main lobby. Otherwise, as a Diamond the Prague Hilton is far superior, with a 6-20 minute (I won't quibble) additional walk.
