Alizé is Business is Alizé?
I tried to book an award flight in Business to the French Antilles through the AF site (nice re-design of the award booking BTW).

I checked availability to SXM, but after selecting the date that I wanted the next screen showed the ticket to be in "Alizé" class. Business not available. 60'000 miles for that ticket.

Since I didn't want Alizé but real Business, I checked PTP. There, after selecting my date, I got indeed the selection in "Business" - again for 60'000 miles.

Can anyone explain what is wrong here? Several theories:
  • SXM is served with an A340 from CDG. The CDG fleet doesn't have any Alizé class, so it actually is Business, for the Business number of miles, but wrongly showing up as Alizé.
  • They put me in Alizé as Business is full - but then wrongly charge me the Business number of miles.

Can anyone confirm it's #1? In which case I'd be OK.
