BWHAHAHA!

United hosed me with an unplanned overnight (bad info given to me by United personnel multiple times, led me to recheck my bags coming home from Frankfurt... and thus forcing me to stay at Hilton ORD with zero change of clothes, etc. I don't like United. But I digress)

Walk-up rooms were unavailable for some reason -I think it was, "We're full", but I called my wife, had her go online to HHONORS.com, somehow found empty rooms, and got the screaming-deal online rate of $450 (ow!) which I sucked it up and paid, wrote United a letter mentioning that their mistake caused this, and I'd like reimbursement or a year of Red Carpet Club membership... which went nowhere.

But now this posting is about me bellyaching about United, no? Forgive me, I felt like a good rant.

But, no, I've never had a good rate at ORD, and the hotel ain't that special.

Maybe I was just in a bad mood. The room was nice and clean. Just... %$#*i Chicago!
